Hourly Comics Day 2021

My first Hourly Comics Day - an annual marathon event for comics artists where the goal is to document your day with hourly comics. I have wanted to do this for years but never had the courage to try. A Twitter post by Lucy Knisley alerted me to the fact that it was HCD just before 10am, then I threw my rest day plans out the window and got started quite late and very unprepared. This is the most comic (nevermind traditional) art I’ve ever produced in a day (acknowledging I inked the final 6 drawings, scanned the lot, and touched up some panels after the fact), but I’m really happy just to have finished. I knew this was a hard thing to do, but I am now utterly amazed that some artists manage to live life while producing these. Kudos to you wizards.
