The Brain: the Story of You

The Brain on my bookshelf

‘The Brain: the story of you’ has been released! It’s the first book my art has been published in, which I worked on while in medical school. I was thrilled to receive a beautiful hard copy from the publisher Canongate. The book is by renowned neuroscientist, author, and presenter David Eagleman, exploring our understanding of the brain, from bias to memory. Fascinating research is broken down at a public level in an interesting way. Stephen Fry himself wrote the foreword, which is a humbling little testament to the content. David also stars in a television documentary series by the same name which you might have seen.

This was a key moment in my life, holding a physical artefact with 11 of my medical illustrations and a lovely credit in the book itself acknowledging the work.
