Thought I’d try something different this month with an illustrated advent calendar highlighting health hazards of the holiday season. Lets see if we can make it to the end together! (the metaphorical end, avoiding the real one is the point of these, right?)

#14 – it’s not cold and snowy everywhere this time of year! Shout out to Oz and the Philippines!
#22 – it’s no fault of the doctors, and a recognised issue worldwide, some tricky calls just take more experience than is available. It’s not something to avoid healthcare over, (you’ll still be looked after better than at home if you need to go to hospital), but it’s an extra reason to be safe and sensible with other choices made to keep you and your loved ones well this season!
A big shout out to all the wonderful young doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals working their butts off to look after us over the holidays, missing out on some of their own celebrations with friends and family. It is a big deal, and does not go unnoticed!
